Join Dr. Seema Khaneja, a physician trained in homeopathy, yoga, Ayurveda, and mind/body medicine, as she presents scientific research about the role of mind and emotions in health and illness. Dr. Khaneja is also a certified hatha yoga instructor with additional training in mind/body medicine from Harvard Medical School. She will also share different tools and exercises we can use to more effectively meet the challenges of our daily life and create the wonderful, fun and joyful lives we were meant to lead.

Cost: $35

Note: Please bring a yoga mat, pillow, and blanket as well as notebook and pen. Please wear loose and comfortable clothing.

Homeopathy: Myth or Science?

Homeopathy is a 200 year old holistic system of medicine that works with the body’s innate ability to heal, with minimal to no side effects. Homeopathy has been integrated into the national health care systems of numerous countries, including Germany, and the United Kingdom. Homeopathy is also recognized by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (part of the National Institutes of Health) as a whole system of medicine. However in the US, there are many misconceptions about homeopathy. Come join Dr. Seema Khaneja, a physician trained in homeopathy, as she presents an enlightening discussion about the origins of homeopathy, an overview of the current scientific research, as well as medical conditions that can benefit from homeopathy.

Acute otitis media (AOM) is one of the most common conditions treated by nurse practitioners.
